The summer solstice has finally come to an end. Moreover, my favorite season is right on the cusp, the autumnal equinox (aka fall).
I wrote this blog partly so I don't forget how much I did this summer, but I really wrote this to give me some peace-of-mind.
While a lot of my friends were traveling to different countries, on tour with kendrick lamar, or were enjoying the bliss of sunbathing on the beach, I had a very boring summer mainly working on different projects to pay the bills.
my weekends were usually spent at home reading or resting...the weekends that I could anyways. Very boring, I know! But this summer I learned Austin Kleon's #9 rule in Steal Like an Artist actually reigned true.

So, ladies and gentlemen here's the brief timeline of the not so boring stuff I was able get done during Summer 2017.
June
- Had the honor of being a part of the 2nd Annual Sweet Auburn Work's GALA
- Sold-out all apparel at the first finesse worldwide pop-up experience.
- Launched the finesse worldwide broadcast. In it, I shared my never before told story of how I met and began working with Pharrell.
July
- Planned the One-on-One experience for Nino Augustine – marking the beginning of the rollout for, Treat You Better.
- Released the second finesse worldwide broadcast: "Staying Positive & the Misconceptions of Finessing" feat. Flockaland
August
- Planned in partnership with Werc Crew the single release party for Treat You Better.
- Launched the Sweet Auburn Works Heritage Contest for photographers & videographers.
- Released the third finesse worldwide broadcast: "Pursuing Passion and Having Faith in the Finesse" feat. DJ Ohso.
September
- Worked with one of my favorite clients, ONE Musicfest, to help plan and promote their first-annual, ONE Music Night headlined by Thundercat, No Name, J.I.D and Ari Lennox.
- Released the fourth finesse worldwide broadcast: "surrendering & sowing the seeds of finesse" feat. Stevie Pettus.
