Adult Swim was at a crossroads — pivoting from a legacy broadcast model with a cult following to building an authentic, yet mainstream social and digital presence that didn’t feel like “hello fellow kids.” The goal was to drive consistent excitement and global relevance for its biggest IPs (especially Rick and Morty) — not just during premiere cycles, but every single day.
my role.
When I joined, no channel had cracked a million followers. When I left, every platform had crossed 1–2 million, with a daily rollout engine that far exceeded the brand’s original goals and expectations. I launched Adult Swim’s first in-house social department, managed an $800K+ social budget, and produced daily original content for a global audience of 16M+. I also led partnerships with major brands across the network’s biggest IPs & brands, including adidas, Liquid Death, Wendy’s, and Pringles. The most notable highlights include award-winning campaigns, a Super Bowl Ad, an April Fools Stunt, and launching the mega-viral Adult Swim Bump TikTok trend that garnered over 13+ billion social impressions and earned media over the course of two weeks.
